So you know how I said that after Irma I would be back to posting regularly? Well I lied.


With everything I have going on with school to get ready for college and keeping my grades up with all of the college entrance exams like the ACT and SAT, plus all of my extra curricular activities, I haven't even thought about my blog lately.


I feel so guilty about not posting at all and it is kind of messing with my head and I don't need that right now.


So I have decided that I will post the rest of my pre-written posts and then I will go into hibernation until summer. The posts wont be with any pictures it will just be my review on the books. After those posts are gone I will not post anything more until school is out. I will come back and put pictures in june.


I feel as if I should really lock down and focus on my school work. This website will still be up and running for anyone to visit should they wish to re-read a post or are reading them for the first time.


So basically it will be like it has in the past few weeks with me being a ghost but now I won't feel so guilty about not posting since I have given you all an explanation.


I have not lost my love of reading or posting and I will be back with great content in June! Honestly I've been reading the same book for a whole month and a half. Which is unheard of for me! But I have little to no free time anymore with everything I have going on. Sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed as it is and very close to a breakdown without my blogging on top of it.


I hope you guys understand and if you decide to disconnect with this blog because of the inactivity then I will understand. I will send out a welcome back post at the end of the school year to let those of you who stayed know I will be back to posting!

Coffee or Tea with books?

Most people like to have a drink and a snack with them when reading, the question is though, whether you prefer coffee or tea? Now as a southern white girl (I can just see the stereotypes piling up) I was raised on Starbucks and Sweet Tea. Although I tend to drink more coffee than tea, I still like both. One can argue that these two things don't really count as tea or coffee seeing as they are all sugared up and transformed from their original state. But honestly, when i'm reading I don't usually drink anything, and if I do it's water. The only time I make coffee or tea myself, is when I want to take a cool bookstagram picture, and then I end up dumping it out without drinking it. I have an owlcrate subscription so when they pack tea into their boxes I usually just keep them around for keepsake purposes. Sometimes I will get the courage to actually drink those teas, but I end up not liking them because they are too bitter or have no taste. Does anyone else share

Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* This book has me shook. Usually, I jump right into writing my review after I finish a book, but I had to sit and compose myself for a minute after getting done. This book was close to being on my Top 5 2017 list, but it didn’t make it because of some issues I had with the book regarding my personal preferences. Everything about this book was flawless, the writing style, the story, each character, was beautiful. It warmed my heart to read this book because it is a true piece of art. Except, this book had blood and gruesome details that made me queasy. I hate anything to do with doctors or hospitals, especially needles and blood. This book had the latter two in abundance. If I hadn’t liked the rest of this book so much, this review probably would have gone in the opposite direction. The story has a Frankenstein vibe to it, and it also gave me a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibe because of a character and his behavior. I know Goodreads says

Book Road Trip!

{Credit to Conceptdraw.com} For a long time now I have always wanted to go on a road trip, and then I thought to myself, “What better way to make it more useful than to add books?” Voila! That is how this idea came to life. As a resident of the great state of Florida, that is where I will start. I will then make my way across the country to hundreds of different Indie bookstores and maybe meet up with booktubers and instagramers while I’m en route. I want to save up some cash and then buy at least one book from the bookstores I visit and keep tabs on where I’ve been and what it was like. I’ve had my heart set on going on a road trip for some time now and this just makes it even better! I think this is a great way to discover new books while also travelling and seeing different parts of the country. It would be awesome if I had some friends that would like to come along with me, but none of my friends read ☹ . This is great because every-time I would look at that book it w
