Ah, the age-old question every book lover likes to argue over: “E-book or Physical copy?” I can’t tell you how many times I have seen different variations of this question among the social media sites but no matter how you phrase it, it’s still a huge debate. As for me I read only Physical copies of books. Why? you ask, because for one I’m a student. And where I’m from they don’t allow electronics inside the education area because it is a ‘distraction’ and could be potentially used to play games on instead of actually using it for the enjoyment of reading. I know I’m not the only one that has had to face this trouble and it is frustrating to know your elders think of you as some delinquent that doesn’t care about learning or their future in any way *sigh*. Anyway, there is that obstacle and plus I personally would love to have a library in my house one day. One that the whole family and I can enjoy with plenty of natural sunlight and a coffee/tea maker on the side with lots of comfy ...
Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* Leigh Bardugo is an auto buy author for me, so I knew I would love this book right when it came out. Then I finally got around to reading it and it didn’t not disappoint! I loved all of the characters within the first few chapters. I also loved how it was set in the same Grishaverse as her other series that starts with Shadow and Bone . You don’t need to read her other series first, but it would help you understand the world better and get the references to other characters and places from those books. It was so nice to see some of my babies cross over to this book every now and then. I really liked the idea of a heist for this book and I loved to see the characters play it out, because it just seemed to suit them. I haven’t read a book solely about a heist before in the YA category, so the concept was pretty new to me. I also really liked how unpredictable this book was, in the sense I was confused most of the time because I couldn’t f...
Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* “Remarkable… Levithan does the dictionary a great deal of justice, showing that the right words really can say it all, and doing it with an effortless grace.” - The New Yorker There really is no better way to explain it. This book was a light, quick read that puts into perspective the things that go on in a serious relationship. From the constantly changing emotions to the private vs public relationship. From how it all starts to how it can all end in an instant, and how there can be a shift in feelings that one isn’t fully aware of. I loved the format of this book and all of the new words I learned just from reading these ‘dictionary entries’. Although I had to stop multiple times to look up a word I didn’t know, and stop my flow of reading, it was worth it. I wouldn’t recommend tabbing words you don’t know to look them up later, because you really need to know the definition of the words before reading on to understand the s...
