BOOKS

I would be glad to review any book you wish to send me. My website is reviews of books I have read, so I don’t discriminate against any book genre. Having said that, I do NOT own an E-reader, so therefore cannot review any downloadable books. The social media platforms I will post my review to are as follows:

My reviews consist of a spoiler and non-spoiler section that include my thoughts on what I liked/disliked. I have 5 guidelines for my reviews:

~Originality- Have I read this before? Are the characters and concept/plot something new I haven’t read before?
~Predictability- Was the book predictable? Or did it keep me guessing on what was to come?
~Connection- Did I relate to the characters? Did I feel like I could put myself into their situation and sympathize with them?
~Emotions- Did the book make me feel something? Did I laugh or cry while reading?
~Appearance- Was the cover pleasing to the eye? (Your book will not be completely judged on the cover, but I do award bonus points for a pretty cover)

I will review your book on a deadline should you require it, but I would like to ask to give me at least one month to get it done. As I am still a student and grades take top priority. All books I receive to be reviewed will take priority depending on deadlines. All of my reviews are my honest thoughts and opinions on all aspects of the book.

I will do my best to include all of your social media platforms with the review but would greatly appreciate it if you would go ahead and include them for me in the email you send.

Impulse Book Buy Requirements

Today I will tell you about some things in a book that make me want to immediately pick it up. Things that you could tell me to get me to buy it without even looking at the book, key words that make think, “Yep, that is my kind of book!” So, let’s get started! Fairytale Retelling - I’m a sucker for any fairytale, and when they are re-imagined? Even better! I love to read a new take on the story and see how well they integrated parts of the original by comparing the two works. Pirates/Sirens - Seriously guys, this is an amazing concept you can do so much with, that is really underappreciated. I love anything to do with these two groups! Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* This book has me shook. Usually, I jump right into writing my review after I finish a book, but I had to sit and compose myself for a minute after getting done. This book was close to being on my Top 5 2017 list, but it didn’t make it because of some issues I had with the book regarding my personal preferences. Everything about this book was flawless, the writing style, the story, each character, was beautiful. It warmed my heart to read this book because it is a true piece of art. Except, this book had blood and gruesome details that made me queasy. I hate anything to do with doctors or hospitals, especially needles and blood. This book had the latter two in abundance. If I hadn’t liked the rest of this book so much, this review probably would have gone in the opposite direction. The story has a Frankenstein vibe to it, and it also gave me a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibe because of a character and his behavior. I know Goodreads says
