The graphic history of an American Founding Father by Jonathan Hennessey and art by Justin Greenwood Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* I love graphic novels but I’m not a huge fan of history. My logic in requesting this book from the website Blogging for Books, was that maybe my love for graphic novels could help me start to love history as well. The problem with that is that I just think history is boring, so I don’t think I will ever be cured of my disinterest in the subject. I didn’t quite enjoy this book because of the way it presented information, sometimes it felt like I was reading bits and pieces of a history textbook. The art was alright but I wanted a little more detail in the scenes. I think this book would be great for anyone who loves history and is interested in the life of Alexander Hamilton. This book would also be great for fans of the Broadway musical Hamilton. I’m sure others love it but this just wasn’t my cup of tea. There is no origin...

Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* Leigh Bardugo is an auto buy author for me, so I knew I would love this book right when it came out. Then I finally got around to reading it and it didn’t not disappoint! I loved all of the characters within the first few chapters. I also loved how it was set in the same Grishaverse as her other series that starts with Shadow and Bone . You don’t need to read her other series first, but it would help you understand the world better and get the references to other characters and places from those books. It was so nice to see some of my babies cross over to this book every now and then. I really liked the idea of a heist for this book and I loved to see the characters play it out, because it just seemed to suit them. I haven’t read a book solely about a heist before in the YA category, so the concept was pretty new to me. Goodreads Summary *NO SPOILERS* This book is the perfect summer read! It is a light and fluffy romance read that is sure to hook you, I couldn’t put it down! This book was fun and kept a smile on my face. I loved the concept of the book and it was interesting to see where the author took the story. There was so many things she could have done with the plot and I’m glad she wrote it the way she did. I didn’t find myself thinking that I wanted to change anything while I read this book. Although the whole book wasn’t strictly upbeat and romantic the author wrote it to where you got just enough of the bad within the good. For example, pointing out certain problems teens face in society, such as ridicule from peers and the pressures of everyday life. In addition to the love our main character shares with guys, there is also a strong bond and love between friends.
